The Correct Way to Model Multiple Hierarchies Under the Same Dimension within AtScale Cube

RESOLUTION

AtScale design center allows cube modelers to implement multiple hierarchies under a single dimension.  When implementing multiple hierarchies, users must ensure each hierarchy is mapped to the corresponding fact table with proper keys. More is needed to map one of the hierarchies.

When cube modelers leave some hierarchies without properly linking with fact tables, those hierarchies remain in the cube but are not displayed in the BI tool display (Tableau, Excel, etc.).

An excellent way to make sure is to check the cube preview feature within the design center, which shows a preview of the cube when displayed in a BI Tool.

Screenshots show the wrong and right ways while modeling multiple hierarchies within a dimension.
