Product GA Update - I2024.1.2 - Patch Release on May 24, 2024
As part of AtScale’s product lifecycle support for software within the support window, this product update is a patch / fix release for general availability.
Highlighted Features and Fixes
Support for GBQ Best Practice - join pattern optimization
This new functionality supports the Google BigQuery best practice.
- For queries that join data from multiple tables
- Properly position the largest table to the left side of the join, and the smaller to the right
- A broadcast join is created, and processed first
- Fix for Semi-additive Measures
When the join between a time dimension and fact is at a level above the leaf level.

- Fix for Power BI DATE Type Columns
For certain DATE type columns in Power BI, the result doesn’t render in the PBI report (just get a spinning wheel).

- Fix for Power BI Custom DATE Data Types
When the VALUE COLUMN in a hierarchy level or secondary attribute is of DATE data type, and the custom format displays the field in a yyyy-mm-dd format in Power BI. It is not adhering to the custom format specified in AtScale.

- Fix for Excel Grand Totals Display
When the Excel grand totals display is blank and differs from Power BI DatePeriodsToDate results.

- Fix for None Formatted Measures in Power BI
When Power BI doesn’t render properly measures that are included in a Calculation Group.
